Outreach efforts
Mountain of Faith supports a variety of ministries as part of our outreach. Every year we select an international, national, state and local effort to support. The links below provide additional information about the groups we support.
Global Lutheran Outreach (Brent and Eugenie Friedrichs – Missionaries to Nigeria)
Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ – our denominational association
Tooele Community Resource Center – We supply 100 lunches for the homeless once a quarter.
Utah Via de Cristo – Pastor Rick serves regularly as Spiritual Director and many members of Mountain of Faith volunteer frequently to in this excellent, lay-laid Christian Renewal Program.
We live into our congregational value of “Family” by supporting Compassion International. Several of our families sponsor a child as does our children’s Sunday School and our congregation as a whole.
For the last five years, Mountain of Faith has been the drop-off location for Operation Christmas Child for the Tooele Valley. This is a great ministry from Franklin Graham’s, Samaritan’s Purse, and we’re proud to support it.
